For November Cometh With a Vengeance

Today I enjoyed walking across campus in a T-shirt, eating ice cream, as snow gently fell to the ground. I got my fair share of odd looks for sure. But I got to give back those looks to all the freshman boys staring up into the sky, trying to catch snowflakes on their tongue. So many Texans here.
I started off the great month of November with two exams! One, in Humanities, I feel very good about. My acoustics...not so much. Both were exact opposite of the expected results. It's going to be a very test and paper filled month. But that's ok!
I also got to work for a really long time today. However, I got to take a break during that time to go and hear the prophet of the church speak at BYU devotional :) Yeah. It was cool. And his message was one I needed to hear.

  1. "I fight cold with cold" philosophy would explain the ice-cream but why were you walking in just a t-shirt? Silly girl... and how do you know all the snowflake catchers were freshman or Texan for that matter? Just wondering...

  2. I was really hot...so I didn't wanna put on a coat. It worked.
I know they were freshman because A) They were at Heritage and B) They reacted like they'd never seen snow before...As for the Texasness, you can just tell...I have a tendency to stereotype...

  3. I can remember taking Spanish to get through my language credits, we had a girl from Texas in there who would walk in and in a thick southern drawl would say, "como esta, Y'all" funniest thing ever!
